Head of BPS Musi Rawas Visits Tegal Rejo Village in the Context of Coordinating Activities in Love Statistics (Cantik) Village

Tegal Rejo, 28 August 2024 – Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Musi Rawas Regency, Mr. Dedi Fahlevi, together with the Person in Charge (PJ) for the Activities of the Village of Love Statistics (Cantik) made a working visit to Tegal Rejo Village, Tugumulyo District, on Wednesday, 28 August 2024. This visit aims to coordinate and monitor the implementation of Desa Cantik activities in the area.

Tegal Rejo Village is one of the villages selected in the Beautiful Village program, an initiative from BPS which aims to increase statistical literacy and utilize statistical data in village development planning. During his visit, Mr. Dedi Fahlevi and the Cantik Village team discussed with the village government and statistical cadres who were directly involved in this activity.

Mr Dedi Fahlevi emphasized the importance of the village's active role in collecting, processing and using statistical data for more targeted development. He also expressed his appreciation to the Tegal Rejo Village government for their good cooperation in implementing this program.

This visit is a momentum to evaluate how far Village Cantik activities have progressed and provide solutions to obstacles that may be faced in the field. Apart from that, Head of BPS Musi Rawas also provided direction regarding strengthening the capacity of human resources in villages, so that they are able to manage data more effectively and independently.

With the Beautiful Village program, BPS Musi Rawas hopes that every village in Musi Rawas Regency can be more independent in managing statistical data and use it as a basis for making better and more focused decisions.
