HEAD OF BPS STATISTIC AND SUPERVISOR FROM PROVINCE SUPERVISION ON FIELD

On Wednesday (21/08/2024), the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Musi Rawas Regency, Mr. Dedi Fahlevi, M.Si together with the supervisor of the August 2024 Sakernas from BPS of South Sumatra Province, namely Mrs. Sondra Megasari S.ST carried out supervision field enumeration as well as supervision in several sample areas.

BPS Musi Rawas Regency has carried out household enumeration activities in the August 2024 Sakernas Sample Census Block from August 8 to August 31 2024. There are 40 PCL and 19 PML Sakernas August 2024 spread across Musi Rawas Regency and North Musi Rawas Regency.

The August 2024 Sakernas data collection activity was carried out using portable devices (tablets/smartphones/devices) owned by officers or what is known as the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) method. By using the CAPI method, officers can conduct interviews without bringing a number of physical documents, data confidentiality is maintained, and can send data immediately after data collection is complete, so that data can be obtained in near real time and can be monitored via the FASIH dashboard. In using this device, officers are also expected to be able to adapt to the use of the device that will be used for interviews, so that interview etiquette and information gathering can be carried out properly.
