Collaborative Preparation for Sectoral Statistics Development in Musi Rawas Regency

On February 20 2024, the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Musi Rawas Regency, together with the Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) as data guardian, and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as data supervisor, have succeeded in coordinating invitations to Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD ) related to efforts to prepare sectoral statistical development in the district.

This activity, which aims to improve the quality of sectoral statistical data in Musi Rawas Regency, has received serious attention from various related parties. In this coordination, Bappeda as the leading agency in regional development planning plays an important role in aligning development vision and strategies with accurate and up-to-date statistical data.

Diskominfo, as data supervisor and manager, is actively involved in ensuring the availability of the technological infrastructure needed for effective data management and dissemination. Meanwhile, BPS acts as the party that directs and provides technical guidance in collecting, processing and analyzing statistical data.

It is hoped that collaboration between the three institutions can increase the capacity of the relevant OPDs in producing accurate and reliable data, so that it can become a strong basis for the development decision-making process at the district level. This collaboration is also a strategic step in efforts to achieve sustainable development goals in Musi Rawas Regency.

Invitees from various relevant OPDs responded positively to this collaborative effort. They expressed their commitment to actively participate in developing sectoral statistics, with the hope that this will have a positive impact on planning and implementing policies at the district level.

It is hoped that this sectoral statistics development activity will become a solid foundation for regional government efforts in facing increasingly complex and dynamic development challenges. With support from various related parties, Musi Rawas Regency is expected to be able to optimize the use of statistical data to achieve sustainable progress and welfare of the community.
