BPS Musi Rawas Attends Coordination Meeting at Musi Rawas Food Security Agency for FSVA Preparation


Musi Rawas, August 27, 2024 – The Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Musi Rawas Regency attended a coordination meeting organized by the Food Security Agency of Musi Rawas Regency to discuss the implementation of the Food Security and Vulnerability Atlas (FSVA) preparation. The meeting took place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, with BPS Musi Rawas represented by Mr. Guntur Wahyu Kusuma.


The preparation of the FSVA is a strategic effort to ensure food security in Musi Rawas Regency, as the atlas will serve as a guide to identify areas vulnerable to food security issues and to formulate strategies for addressing them. During the meeting, various stakeholders, including BPS, coordinated efforts to integrate the necessary data and information for the FSVA preparation.


Mr. Guntur Wahyu Kusuma, representing BPS Musi Rawas, provided input on data collection and processing methods relevant to the atlas preparation. He also emphasized BPS’s commitment to supporting efforts to strengthen food security in Musi Rawas Regency by providing accurate and reliable statistical data.


The meeting also addressed the technical steps in implementing the FSVA and highlighted the importance of inter-agency collaboration to ensure that the resulting atlas can be effectively used for planning and policymaking related to food security.


With BPS’s participation in this meeting, it is hoped that the FSVA preparation in Musi Rawas Regency will proceed smoothly and produce high-quality outcomes, contributing to sustainable food security in the region.
