Abstract

  • Sumatera Selatan's NTP in January 2023 fell 0.36 percent compared to the previous month, namely from 100.33 only to 99.97.
  • The decrease in NTP in January 2023 was affected by a decrease in NTP in the sub-sector; Plantation 0.62 percent, Livestock 0.69 percent and Aquaculture 0.59 percent. Meanwhile, the sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTP were; Food Crops 0.39 percent, Horticulture 0.99 percent, Fisheries in general 1.02 percent and Capture Fisheries 2.06 percent.
  • In January 2023, the province of Sumatera Selatan experienced rural inflation of 0.87 percent.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the province of Sumatera Selatan in January 2023 was 98.34 or an increase of 0.24 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
