Abstract

  • In March 2013 South Sumatra's exports reached a value of US $385.24 million. The value of South Sumatra's exports in March 2013 increased by 6.15 percent compared to February 2013. However, when compared with the same period in 2012 (March 2012) the exports of South Sumatra Province experienced a decrease of 9.90 percent
  • The export value of South Sumatra Province in March 2013 was US $ 385.24 million consisting of oil and gas exports amounting to US $ 71.92 million and US $ 313.32 million from non-oil and gas commodity exports.
  • The United States, Malaysia and China are the main export destinations South Sumatra, during January - March 2013 each reached US $ 238.26 million, US $ 228.37 million and US $ 139.80 million, with the roles of the three reaching 58.05 percent of total exports in March 2013
